Tristan Valeny

Clinical Director and Podiatrist

Tristan is a Sussex man through and through, being born and raised in Brighton.  He graduated from the University of Huddersfield, completing his Podiatry degree and attaining HCPC registration in 2013. He returned to Brighton in the same year and has built experience and expertise in practising in both private and NHS services. Tristan started as a clinical podiatry associate for clinics in Brighton, and in 2015 he started his career in the NHS based in Crawley and Horsham. He managed to progress to be appointed as the clinical lead in Nail Surgery and High Risk at Brighton General Hospital within a few short years.

Tristan has recently left the NHS and started an exciting new journey as the Clinical Director (and Podiatrist) of Sussex Total Footcare, succeeding the well-established practice of All About Feet in Worthing in September 2021. Tristan’s other clinical interests include Nail Surgery, Sports injuries and Biomechanics. Tristan can administer local anaesthetics and can issue prescription only medicine. 

In his spare time, Tristan enjoys sport, going to the gym and music. An avid follower of football attends the matches at Brighton and Hove Albion regularly. Has played guitar and bass since he was a young boy and has been a passion ever since.

Madeline Kelly

Podiatrist and Chiropodist

Madeline, originally from Scotland, has been living in the South of England for over 30 years. After various successful professional career occupations in Facilities Management, Madeline went on to pursue her ambition to study Podiatry and qualified from the University of Brighton in 2001. Madeline has spent most of her Podiatry career working in the NHS and specialises in Diabetes and Vascular High Risk Foot problems.

Ramona Crutchfield

Podiatrist and Chiropodist

Originally from Romania, Ramona has been living in Sussex for the last 15 years.

With a background in healthcare, wellness and non- profit management, she has retrained as a Podiatrist at Brighton Uni and has been working in NHS and private practice for the last 10 years.

She is delighted to have re-joined the passionate team at STFC. She takes great pride in her job and her focus is on excellent care for her patients.

Her scope of work is varied including nail surgery, diabetic foot care and assessment, general chiropody, musculoskeletal Podiatry and prescribing orthotics. Outside of work, Ramona likes reading, good food, good music and exploring the beautiful South Downs countryside, the coast and the sea.

She has a cat and 2 young cocker spaniels who keep her very active. An interesting thing about her is her newest hobby of calligraphy.

Carolyn Holmes

Podiatrist and Chiropodist

Carolyn graduated from the University of Brighton in 2001 and started out working for the NHS in Mid Sussex carrying out routine clinics but ended up specialising in nail surgery which has always been her area of interest. Outside of Podiatry, Carolyn is a very keen crafter and enjoys cookery and spending time in the garden.

Christopher Hadaway

Podiatrist and Chiropodist

Chris qualified from the Chelsea School of Chiropody in 1988 and has worked in both the NHS and Private Practice ever since. He developed an interest in biomechanics and gait analysis and spent Ten years in this speciality. Chris has also spent many years in education as a clinical supervisor at the London Foot Hospital and as a Lecturer/ Practitioner at Middlesex University.
